ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Hagan Abbasi on Wednesday offered the opposition leader Khurshid Shah that the prime minister of the temporary brother should not be a retired judge, sources said. .

According to sources, the prime minister proposed that the opposition should appoint a bureaucrat or a technocrat to this post.
Abbasi said at the meeting that if the opposition parties do not name the candidate, [Shah] Shah must do it. He added that if any opposition parties disagree with the candidates proposed by Sha, the latter should continue to recommend names for the position, as the Constitution allows the opposition leader to do so.
. Further, the prime minister said that the appointment of a provisional prime minister should not be taken to the Electoral Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
After meeting with the Prime Minister Shah met with Pakistani leader Tehriq-i-Insaf Shah Mehmud Qureshi in the cells of the Parliament House.
Shah took Qureshi in confidence in his meeting with the Prime Minister. He said that the opposition should begin to complete its names for the post of interim prime minister.
Shirin Mazari and Neivid Kamar from PPP also took part in the meeting.
The current government is expected to complete its five-year term on May 31, after which the interim government will assume the general elections that are expected to be held last week July or the first week of August.
According to the Constitution of Pakistan, the provisional Prime Minister is appointed by the Prime Minister in agreement with the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly.
Both the Prime Minister and the opposition leader then represent the names of the three candidates, each of whom is nominated as a temporary prime minister by the consensus candidate.
The main responsibility of the guardian government is to ensure that elections are held in a transparent manner.
