Accountability court to resume hearing Avenfield case against Sharifs today | Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The additional director of the Federal Investigation Agency, Wajid Zia, who headed the joint investigation team in the Panama case (JIT), which analyzed the assets of the Sharif family last year, will be cross-examined for the ninth time today In the Avenfield property link.

Last year, this reference refers to the three filed against the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) regarding the instructions of the Supreme Court.

The NAB filed three additional certificates against Nawaz

References to corruption filed against sharfi refer to Al-Azizia Steel and Hill Metal metallurgical enterprises, offshore companies, including Flagship Investment Ltd and Avenfield properties of London .

Nawaz and sons Hussein and Hasan are accused of all three references, while his daughter Maryam and son-in-law Safdar are accused only of indicating Avenfield.

Both brothers who have been abroad have been hiding since the trial began for a year and was declared by the court to be declared offenders.
