According to the latest reports received by Geo News it is expected that the escape route will be restored by noon on Thursday.
Passengers were faced with difficulties, as the train freight on the rails caused delays between eleven to thirty-six hours for passenger trains tied to Sindhu and Punjab.
Khawaja Minister of Railways Saad Rafik called an emergency meeting after the incident and announced a free breakfast for all passengers suffering from the delay.
He also announced that half of the total paid fare will be refunded to passengers who experience delays for twelve hours or more.
