Note: The immediate motivating moment for self-instruction is the change in the attitude of the student towards himself and his activity, “the awareness of the ability to go beyond the limits of the given, to creatively transform oneself. The source of self-study is the students’ desire for active cognitive work. The evaluation of the results obtained is accompanied by the formation of a new sense-forming motive and ends with the setting of new goals. The fundamental difference between independent work and self-education lies in the fact that independent work is mainly stimulated and controlled from the outside, whereas the self-educational work is by internal motives that go beyond the educational ones. In some situations, when solving certain problems, independent activity and self-education can be so closely intertwined that it is very difficult to dissolve them. In our work, we consider self-education as a purposeful, systematic, cognitive activity directed by students themselves, necessary for improving education. At the same time, self-education can develop if two cardinal conditions are met: the need for self-education is the dominant reason for self-mastering knowledge-and a certain situation for satisfying it.
