Imran assures Sanjrani of support for FATA reforms agenda in Senate | Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: The chairman of the Senate, Sadik Sanjari, on Friday called on the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, where the latter assured the former of his party support of the reform program FATA in the Senate.
Sangrani during a meeting at the Khan's residence Bani Gala thanked the PTI chairman for approving him in the Senate elections.
Two figures held a comprehensive discussion of parliamentary issues, while the chairman of the Senate also informed the head of the PTI about his agenda for reforms in the upper house.
On occasion, Khan said that the passage of the FATA bill from the Senate is a step in the right direction, adding: "The merger of FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is inevitable for a permanent solution."
The meeting was also attended by Assad Umar, Shafqat Mehmud, Fawad Chaudhry, Faisal Javed and Munaza Hassan.
