Imran Khan will not cast vote in Senate elections: PTI MNA | Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's President Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan will not vote in the Senate elections in the federal capital.
During a conversation for the media outside the National Assembly, PTI MNA Shafqat Mehmood said that Imran would not go to parliament to cast his vote, as he had other obligations.
On charges of trading horses Mehmud said that the reports are disappointing,
He added that the votes were bought and sold, then only money will be presented, and not the public.
A total of 20 candidates contest 12 seats from the Punjab, 33 for 12 seats from Sindha, and 12 candidates from the provinces, federal tribal areas (FATA) and Islamabad
26 for 11 seats from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 25 for 11 seats from Baluchistan, 24 for four seats from FATA and five for two seats from Islamabad.
Four provincial assemblies vote for their representatives, while FATA senators are elected by MNA members from tribal areas and senators from Islamabad by members of the National Assembly.
