Pakistan strongly condemns Indian aggression in occupied Kashmir: FO | World

ISLAMABAD / LAHORE: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday resolutely condemned the gross violation of human rights by Indian troops, which led to the martyrdom of seventeen Kashmiris in Indian Kashmir

At least 17 people from Kashmir were tortured after the Indian labor force carried out operations to regiment and search in the occupied Kashmiri Islamabad and Shopyan districts, the Kashmir Media Service (KMS) reports.

The families of the dead were destroyed, the Foreign Ministry said, adding that Indian troops continued to suppress merciless demonstrators in the area.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the suspension of Internet services in India, calling it tactics to drown out people's voices. The statement also added that India plays the role of court, lawyer and executioner in the mass execution of Kashmiris.

Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif strongly condemned the brutality of Indian troops in occupied Kashmir.

The minister said that the worst form of state terrorism is in the occupied Kashmir.

"[Indian occupied] Kashmir was covered with blood," Asif said, adding that dozens of the sons were tortured in the area.

The Kashmiris count the bodies and organize the funeral, and their blood makes the conscience of the international community, said Asif.

The Minister strongly condemned the terror of the Indian state in order to destroy the youth of Kashmir, and stressed that Pakistan stands with the Kashmiris.

The Chief Minister of Punjab, Shehbaz Sharif, attempted to condemn Indian human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.
