Passenger, Adeel Khan, was waiting for his baggage at the Islamabad airport along with other passengers after he got home through the Turkish Airlines Flight TK-710, when he and some other passengers saw that the person smokes inside (19459010)
When Adele Khan approached this and asked him not to smoke, as he caused inconvenience to other passengers, the person who later identified himself as Mohsin Khattak, son of Usman Hattak, was attacked
In a written complaint to the Civil Aviation Administration (CAA), and then to the Islamabad Khan police said Khattak and his two accomplices abused him, ripped his clothes and humiliated him simply because he asked him not to smoke in a non-smoking area.
Interior Minister Auchan Iqbal notified of the incident and dispatched the Islamabad police for a detailed investigation and to report to him within the next 48 hours
Several other passengers also filed written complaints against a person for violence, hooliganism and impartiality and argued that during the incident the authorities of the CAA and the security forces at the airport (ASF) did not intervene
