PM Abbasi arrives in China to attend Boao Forum | Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Hagan Abbasi arrived in China on Sunday to represent Pakistan at the Boao Forum.
which will be held in the southern island province of China in Hainan from 8 to 11 April, will bring together leading leaders from China, the Philippines, Singapore, Mongolia, Austria and several other countries.
Known as "Davos in Asia", Chinese President Xi Jinping will also attend the conference, who will deliver a keynote speech at the forum. It is expected that China will introduce new measures for reform and opening in this regard.
During his three-day visit, Prime Minister Abbasi will also hold a series of bilateral meetings, including with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Secretary-General (19459012)

On April 10, Chinese President Xi Jing Yepin will deliver a keynote address at the first meeting of the conference. On the same day, around 11:00 (Beijing time), Prime Minister Abbasi is expected to deliver a speech and provide the role of Pakistan in the region to the international community.
On April 9, Interior Minister Auchan Iqbal will take part in the main speaker at the session "The Belt & Road: Case Studies and Success Stories", while the Federal Minister of Energy Avaid Ahmed Khan Lehari will attend the " Energy and Resources: New Silk on the Belt and the Road "respectively. Former Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz will also take part in the meeting "Tax cuts: a global race to the bottom"
Other participants include Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen, Philippine President Rodrigo Duteret, Mongolian Prime Minister Ukhnaagiina Hurelsuh, Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, Singapore Prime Minister Li Xian Lung, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde.
