PTI councillor Arif arrested in Mashal Khan murder case | Pakistan
MARDAN: The main accused in the case of lynching Mashal Khan Mohammad Arif was arrested, the police said on Thursday.
Mardan District Police District Dr. Mian Said confirmed reports of Arif's arrest, stating that the accused was arrested near Chamtar on the Ring Road.
Arif was among the three accused in the murder of Mashaal.
Welcoming the actions of the police, PTI chairman Imran Khan shared a tweet:

According to the verdict, one person was sentenced to death, five were sentenced to life imprisonment, 25 were sent
26 defendants released by the Internal Affairs Directorate received a "hero's greeting" in their hometown of Swabi and Mardan .
However, the Mashal family disputed their acquittal later.
