PTI to support PPP’s Saleem Mandviwalla for Senate chairman slot | Pakistan
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) have concluded an agreement on the election of Salem Mandvouella to the presidency of the Senate, a source in Geo News said.
Senator Manvivalua addresses himself as a candidate for PPP to this position.
For the Senate of the Deputy Senate, they agreed to support an independent candidate from Anwar Uhl Haq Kakar who was elected from Baluchistan in the recent Senate elections.
Geo News reported earlier today referring to sources that the head of PTI Imran Khan refused to extend his support for PPP, a few days after the appearance of the latter is trying to get PTI to support his candidate.
The PTI also considered the issue of supporting a candidate from independent Balochistan senators or the FATA if any of them disputes the place, sources said.
Imran wanted to get a Senator from Balochistan, elected as chairman, but now there is no objection to the candidacy of Mundwilla.
