‘Stop us if you can’, says Maryam after PML-N’s performance in Senate elections | Pakistan
The leader of the Muslim League of Pakistan-Nawaz (PML-N), Mariam Nawaz, expressed his satisfaction on Saturday after the party won more than 14 seats in the current Senate elections.
PML-N supported by independent candidates summarized 15 seats in the Senate across the country according to unofficial and unverified results, as new results are expected in the near future.
"No worldly power or conspiracy can defeat someone who has help from God," Maryam
She also praised party leaders for supporting the party and remained unshakable in difficult times.
In Punjab, independent candidates from PML-H provided 11 of the 12 seats in the Punjab Assembly and also packed two more seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
While in the federal capital, PML-N was supported by Mushahid Hussein Sayed, the bag was the place of a technocrat, and Asad Junjo won a common place. PML-N was supported by Dilawar Khan, who won the technocrat's place from the CP.
It is expected that PML-N will replace PPP as the largest party in the upper house after the election on Saturday.
