Stress in Physics Terms

 

When a body is made to change its length, volume or shape by the application of an external force, the opposing force per unit area is called Stress.

 

 

Formula:

 

Stress = Force / Area

 

o = F/A (Here o represents (Rho) do not write in your examination paper)

 

Units:

 

– S.I or M.K.S System – N/m2 or Pascal (Pa)

 

– C.G.S system – Dyne/cm2

 

– F.P.S or BE System – lb/ft2 and lb/in2

 

(Here 2 in all above systems shows square)

 

Note: Full-time students are given more time for more detailed consideration of topics where the teacher has the opportunity not only verbally, but also on the examples to explain the material. Part-time students mainly have to master the material independently, which requires special patience and responsibility from the student, as well as concentration, while having less time. One of the positive aspects is that, that the correspondence student has the opportunity to simultaneously not only learn, but also apply knowledge in practice. And at the end of the university, the student will not only have knowledge of the theory, but also practical experience, experience. Of course, the students can also study and work in parallel, but after a while they choose one thing.  The positive and negative aspects of correspondence education, also depend on financial possibilities, age and marital status.
