ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Marrium Aurangzeb, said on Monday that the ugly face of those who chanted slogans about the changes was exposed today, adding that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had never participated in the buying process
The state minister together with the leader of the Muslim League of Pakistan Talal Chaudhry addressed the media after the elections to the Senate, in which opposition candidate Sadik Sanjari defeated.
"He who stands on his principles is the one who won here. He is Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, "she said.
Murrium said that the People's Party of Pakistan continues to chant that Bhutto is alive, but he was tortured today.

In the Senate elections, Sanjraini received 57 votes out of a possible 103 votes and was sworn in as chairman by Sardar Yakub Khan.
Sanjari, independent, was supported by the PPS, Pakistan's Terik-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Muttahid Movement of Kaumi-Pakistan (MQM-P).
According to the reports, Sanjari also supported independent senators elected from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
